Marcus Pegross is the Executive Director for Coronado Heights Assisted Living and Memory Care. He moved here in 2001 and has been in healthcare since 1998 starting as a Certified Nurses Aid. He received his nursing license in 2007. His mission is to improve lives for the residents of our community, as well as the staff that he employs here.
Judy Williams is our Health and Wellness Director. She has been a nurse in the Las Vegas area since 1989. She brings with her an extensive knowledge of a variety of specialties as well as over 20 years of geriatric care experience. She is honored to care for the aging population and plans to provide compassionate care to our residents on a daily basis.
Dijana Sudarevic serves as the Community Relations Director for Coronado Heights Senior Living. In her role, Dijana oversees the Marketing Department along with guiding families and potential residents through the sometimes difficult transition from home to Assisted Living or Memory Care. She also oversees all of our social media activity as well as advertising and community branding. As the Community Relations Director, she plans to utilize her customer relations experience to help the community grow and help families that are going through this transition with their loved one.
Since receiving her Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and Business from University of Nevada Las Vegas, she has been working in the sales and marketing industry for about 10 years, the last 6 years in the healthcare industry. Dijana brings with her a compassion for seniors. She really knows how to adapt to each situation and help our current and potential residents discover how to maximize their quality of life in the most independent setting as possible. Dijana loves getting to meet new families and learning about their life stories. Originally from Europe, she now lives in Las Vegas with her husband and two children.
Samantha Rivero is excited to share her creativity and passion as "Community Lifestyle Director." With years of experience within Senior Living, Samantha is known for designing and cultivating innovative outlets to enhance community structure and appeal. Redefining the concept of "Senior Living Communities" and exploring exciting ways to create a thriving culture is where her talents boost genuine passion. Samantha will manage Coronado Heights Multi-Media, Social Media and Branding platforms. "It's more than a lifestyle, it's creating a web that connects all departments, maintains the ebb and flow of a successful building's internal and external relationships and builds a connection!"
Hailed from San Diego, California, Armi Guzman has been in the health industry for nearly two decades. She served the adult population for more than 10 years and transitioned to the elderly when her father started declining. She brings extensive personal and professional experience to her role as Activity Director.
With a background education in Recreational Therapy, Armi has been able to utilize her passion to serve various populations covering an array of cultural and social backgrounds. More specifically, she has worked with individuals who have struggled with substance abuse; persons with mental illnesses, and people affected by poverty and homelessness. For her current role, Armi believes that residents’ interaction with peers and relationships with others provides more meaning, purpose, and value to their time living in an assisted living community. Outside of her professional world, Armi enjoys the entertainment industry. She has performed in Hard Rock’s (The Joint), Bootlegger Italian Bistro, and occasionally performs as a guest singer at The Tuscany Casino.
Jason Reynolds our New Executive Chef is originally from southern California and has been living in the Las Vegas valley for almost 16 years. Chef Reynolds has worked in some of the finest kitchens in Las Vegas and Southern California. He comes to Coronado Heights with a passion for hospitality and delicious food. Chef Reynolds pursued a full athletic scholarship to Arizona State University to play football after high school, once his playing days were over he attended the Art Institute of Orange County’s esteemed culinary arts program, where he began his culinary adventures. He is married to Amber, his high school sweetheart and they have four children. When Chef Jason is not in the kitchen he loves to spend time with his family and friends, trying out new and upcoming restaurants all around the valley.
Sarah comes from the North East. She wanted to escape the cold winters, so she moved to Las Vegas in 2016. She graduated from Franklin Pierce College in New Hampshire with a degree in Sport and Leisure Management. She has been working in activities with the Alzheimer/Dementia population for the last 13 years. She enjoys making her residents laugh, and admires her residents very much.
Roanne has brought her passion for nursing to Coronado Heights as the Resident Services Director. While her days consist of multiple meetings, following up with physician and fulfilling staffing needs, her real joy comes from her interactions with the residents of Coronado Heights. She does not hesitate to offer her assistance whether it’s helping to pass medications or assist a resident with their daily needs.
Roanne comes home to a husband and their boy Gunner – a Siberian Husky! They have been living in Las Vegas, Nevada since 2016 and previously lived in Southern California where she worked as a Home Health Nurse. Roanne loves challenges and is eager to help build Coronado Heights to be a pillar of care in the assisted living community.
Jeff serves as our Environmental Services Director and has over 30 years of experience in the building and construction industry.
He keeps our facility running smoothly and is instrumental with our compliance standards and staff training. A native of California
Jeff, his wife, and two children have called Las Vegas home for 25 years. It is his pleasure to assist us in all our facility’s needs.
