Hailed from San Diego, California, Armi Guzman has been in the health industry for nearly two decades. She served the adult population for more than 10 years and transitioned to the elderly when her father started declining. She brings extensive personal and professional experience to her role as Activity Director.
With a background education in Recreational Therapy, Armi has been able to utilize her passion to serve various populations covering an array of cultural and social backgrounds. More specifically, she has worked with individuals who have struggled with substance abuse; persons with mental illnesses, and people affected by poverty and homelessness. For her current role, Armi believes that residents’ interaction with peers and relationships with others provides more meaning, purpose, and value to their time living in an assisted living community.
Outside of her professional world, Armi enjoys the entertainment industry. She has performed in Hard Rock’s (The Joint), Bootlegger Italian Bistro, and occasionally performs as a guest singer at The Tuscany Casino.
